Regenerative Impact Alliance (RIA)
RIA believes information needs to be free and deserves to be free. We maintain transparency about affiliate relationships while funding operations through ethical revenue models.
When you click certain links on our website or in our materials and make purchases, we may earn commissions from those companies. These are called "affiliate links" or "affiliate relationships."
You never pay more because of affiliate links. Prices are the same whether you use our link or go directly to the provider.
RIA may earn affiliate commissions from:
3.1 Educational Resources
Online courses (business development, regenerative systems, coordination skills)
Training programs we recommend

4.1 Authentic Recommendations Only
We ONLY recommend:
Products and services board members or partners actively use
Tools that genuinely serve community empowerment
Resources aligned with our mission and values
Solutions we believe create real value
We do NOT recommend products just for commissions.
4.2 Quality Over Commission
If a better tool exists without an affiliate program, we recommend the better tool. Mission before money.
4.3 Honest Reviews
Our recommendations include:
Genuine pros and cons
Appropriate use cases
Alternative options (even without affiliate programs)
Honest assessments based on actual experience
5.1 Revenue Allocation
Affiliate commissions support:
RIA Operations: Educational content creation, platform development, community programming
Impact professional and change maker development
Impact amplification support
Methodology transfer and coordination
Other mission-aligned goals as identified by board of directors
5.2 Information Liberation
Affiliate revenue enables us to:
Share coordination methodologies freely
Provide templates and frameworks at no to low cost
Support communities without creating dependency
Fund educational content and resources
5.3 Grant Independence
Diversified revenue (affiliate + donations + membership) reduces our dependency on grants and foundation funding, enabling mission-driven decisions.
We participate in affiliate programs including (but not limited to):
Amazon Associates: Books, equipment, supplies
Educational Platforms: Course marketplaces, training programs
Software Companies: SaaS tools for coordination and productivity
Technology Providers: Connectivity, equipment, technical services
This list is not exhaustive. We will update as programs change.
7.1 Clear Identification
When affiliate links are present, we disclose clearly:
"This post contains affiliate links"
"We may earn commission from purchases through these links"
Visual indicators (hashtags, disclaimers, etc.)
7.2 Compliance
We comply with:
FTC Guidelines on endorsements and affiliate disclosure
Applicable advertising standards
Platform-specific disclosure requirements
8.1 Using Affiliate Links Is Optional
You can:
Use our affiliate links to support our mission (costs you nothing extra)
Go directly to providers without our links
Search for products independently
Your choice doesn't affect our relationship with you.
8.2 Questions or Concerns
If you have questions about specific recommendations or affiliate relationships, contact [email protected].
9.1 Partners vs. Affiliates
Not all organizations we mention are affiliate partners. Many are:
Community Partners: Local leaders implementing programs
Technology Providers: Tools we use but have no affiliate relationship with
Proof Point Examples: Organizations we reference for methodology validation (MGM Grand, Daily Table etc.)
We differentiate between partnerships, affiliations, and examples.
9.2 Unpaid Recommendations
Many recommendations carry no financial benefit to RIA. We recommend them because they serve our charitable and educational mission and community needs.
10.1 Caution with MLM Structures
We approach multi-level marketing (MLM) structures cautiously. MLMs can create:
Problematic incentive structures
Community relationship complications
Focus on recruitment over product value
10.2 Partner Involvement
Some community partners may participate in MLM structures. We:
Do not endorse MLM participation generally
Evaluate product quality independently of MLM structure
Avoid affiliate relationships that require MLM participation
Prioritize community wellbeing over commission potential
11.1 Donations Are Separate
Affiliate revenue is COMPLETELY SEPARATE from donations:
Donations support charitable programs (tax-deductible for US donors)
Affiliate commissions support operational sustainability
Both serve mission but through different mechanisms
11.2 No Donation Obligation
Using affiliate links does not obligate you to donate, and vice versa. Support us in whatever way makes sense for you.
12.1 Program Updates
Affiliate programs change. We may:
Add new affiliate relationships
End existing partnerships
Modify commission structures
12.2 Notification
We will update this Affiliate Disclosure when material changes occur. Check periodically for updates.
